All-New Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid Launched in the Philippines

Under ACMobility, Kia Philippines has officially launched the fifth-generation Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid, an icon of the compact SUV segment.

As one of the original pioneers of the compact SUV segment in the country, the Sportage returns with a bold aesthetic, premium interior craftsmanship, and a sustainable electricfied powertrain designed to inspire a new era of Filipino drivers.

The new design is shaped by Kia's signature 'opposites united' design philosophy. The new Sportage Turbo Hybrid balances striking, athletic lines with refined sophistication.

The front fascia is anchored by Kia's iconic Tiger Nose Grille, flanked by distinct Star-Map Signature LED headlights and projector foglights that give the SUV a sharp, instantly recognizable face on the road.

The sculpted front flows into a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette. Stylish 18-inch alloy wheels come standard across all variants, giving the crossover a commanding stance. At the rear, clean modern lines are complemented by a Smart Power tailgate, adding everyday utility for loading gear or groceries.

Inside is an expansive, tech-forward cabin built around convenience and occupant comfort. The focal point of the cabin is a sweeping 12.3-inch LCD infotainment system that seamlessly supports Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A wireless phone charger keeps devices powered up cord-free.

Passengers ride in comfort surrounded by premium leather seats. Audio experience depends on the trim, offering either a refined 6-speaker set-up or an immersive 8-speaker Harman Kardon Sound system.

Thoughtfully arranged storage areas throughout the cabin ensure family roadtrips and city commutes remain clutter-free. It is supported by the rear cargo area accessed via the Smart Power tailgate.

At the heart of the SUV is a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a 1.49kWh lithium-ion battery. Together, this hybrid setup produces an impressive combined output of 235 PS and 367 Nm of torque. The instantaneous torque from the electric motor combined with the turbo power offers quick, responsive acceleration, ideal for effortless highway overtaking and nimble urban driving.

Every variant comes standard with six airbags, cruise control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The SX variant adds Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.

Both variants are available in either Wolf Frey, Snow White Pear, or Gravity Grey. The SX variant also comes with an exclusive Heritage Blue colorway.
