Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G set for July 16 debut

A variant from the HOT 70 Series is set for launch tomorrow, and that will be the Pro model.

Infinix is preparing to launch the HOT 70 Pro on July 16, 2026, positioning it as an upgrade to the HOT 70, which launched in the Philippines at PHP 7,499. 

The said new model will add 5G connectivity and a Matrix Cube LED rear display.

Meanwhile, a Geekbench listing indicates the device will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset paired with a Mali-G610 dual-core GPU, 8GB of RAM, and Android 16, representing a notable performance jump over its predecessor. 

Furthermore, the listing shows benchmark scores of 978 for single-core and 2,843 for multi-core performance.

On the design front, the HOT 70 Pro carries over the Matrix Cube LED feature first introduced on the Note 60 Pro and adds a dedicated AI button. Infinix is also highlighting the device's durability, describing it as drop-proof, waterproof, and dustproof under a "3-in-1 protection" designation.

The phone will be offered in five colors: purple, orange, blue, green, and silver.

Given the specification upgrades and current increases in global memory prices, industry observers anticipate the HOT 70 Pro will carry a higher price tag than the outgoing HOT 70.

Infinix is expected to confirm official pricing and availability at the July 16 launch event.
