Startup Database Philippines goes live

One hub for Filipino startups

Startup Database Philippines has gone live as a hub meant to bring together the country's growing innovation community.

Now live at startupdatabase.ph, the platform already features more than 306 startups, a community of 154 Filipino builders, and has racked up 188,000 views to date. Developed jointly by Gobi Partners, StartupHunt, and BetterGov.PH, it's designed as a free, open resource for anyone involved in the Philippine startup scene.

The platform is organized into four key sections. Its startup directory allows users to browse and search Filipino-built companies and products, while a dedicated AI section highlights the rising number of local startups working on artificial intelligence. 

Meanwhile, its investor database features profiles of more than 100 angel investors, VC firms, and accelerators supporting Filipino founders, and its builders database links companies with Filipino developers, designers, and tech professionals looking for new opportunities.

Submitting a listing is free, and the platform has expanded purely through word of mouth since launch.

Aside from the startup directory, users can also access a jobs board where companies post openings and job seekers browse opportunities across the ecosystem. 

There's also an event calendar tracking major meetups, conferences, and programs, plus a vetted directory of service providers — including lawyers, accountants, and designers — who work with startups. An ecosystem analytics section rounds out the offering, giving partners and researchers access to data and trends shaping the local startup landscape.

Organizations interested in supporting the initiative can join as ecosystem partners, in addition to founding partners Gobi Partners, StartupHunt, and BetterGov.The program is now open to accelerators, VC firms, media outlets, universities, government agencies, and other service providers.

In return for a dedicated profile, logo visibility in the launch announcement and future updates, and access to ecosystem analytics, partners share the platform with their own communities and set up their own profile on the site.

Startup Database Philippines remains free and accessible at startupdatabase.ph, where founders can submit their startups directly.
