GCash adds facial verification, FREE scam insurance to GLoan

This new feature gives borrowers stronger identity checks against fraud and unauthorized applications. The adaptive security tool works during high‑risk transactions while keeping the process smooth for low‑risk availments.

The upgrade builds on GCash's Security Center features: Lock My Account, Money Lock, and Subscription Center—all designed to guard users from scams and account misuse.

Fuse also boosted GLoan Protect with new Loan Scam Insurance, covering up to PHP 10,000 for select users affected by phishing or unauthorized borrowing.

On top of this, every loan of at least PHP 500 comes with FREE health insurance via GInsure and Oona Insurance, including a daily hospitalization allowance worth PHP 500 or up to 10% of the loan value.

Generally, these new protections highlight GCash's push to make financial access secure and reliable, ensuring Filipinos can borrow with confidence.
