The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has named the HONOR Magic V6 its Foldable Smartphone of 2026-2027, recognizing the device as a standout entry in the fast-evolving foldable phone category.
Its most notable achievement, according to the award citation, is on the endurance and durability front.
This boasts the HONOR Super Steel Hinge for long-term durability, tested for up to 500,000 folds, and HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield on the cover screen to prevent unwanted hairline scratches and minimize the risk of cracking when dropped.

It also achieves IP68 and IP69 certification, bringing rare all-around water and dust resistance to the foldable category—an area where folding phones have traditionally lagged behind their traditional slab-style counterparts.
The Magic V6 packs a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest yet seen in any foldable phone, and supports 80W wired charging alongside 66W wireless charging.
Despite such battery capacity, HONOR manages to keep it super slim at .75mm thinness when folded and 4nm thin when unfolded.

Meanwhile, at the heart of the Magic V6 is a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, giving the foldable enough muscle to handle heavy multitasking and gaming without compromise, according to EISA's judges.
In its official citation, EISA called the HONOR Magic V6:
An impressive step forward for foldable durability and endurance," underscoring how far the category has come in balancing power, screen real estate, and ruggedness in a single folding chassis.
The award places the Magic V6 among EISA's most prestigious annual honors, voted on by the organization's international panel of technology journalists across the mobile devices category.
