HUAWEI's most ambitious flagship yet?
HUAWEI has announced an event for September 7 in China, where the company is expected to unveil its Mate XT 2 tri-fold smartphone alongside HarmonyOS 7.
While full specifications have not yet been disclosed, the released video teaser offers the clearest look so far at the device.

The teaser also appears to confirm earlier rumors that the Mate XT 2 will feature an inward-folding, U-shaped design, a departure from the Z-shaped folding mechanism used in the original Mate XT and Mate XTs.
According to rumors, the Mate XT 2 may include a 6,000 mAh battery and a Kirin 9050 Pro processor, though some sources have instead pointed to a Kirin 9030S chip. Its camera system is rumored to be similar to that of the Mate X7.
Additional details about the device are expected in the days leading up to the September 7 launch.
