Monster Hunter Rise appears on Netflix Games
Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise has appeared on iOS and Android as a Netflix game, according to store listings that went live on October 7, 2026. Neither Capcom nor Netflix has formally announced the release.
Store listings are region-locked, which suggests a soft launch. So far, the Philippines is the only confirmed market, and no release date has been given for other regions.

Both the App Store and Google Play list the title as “Monster Hunter Rise Netflix,” with Netflix as publisher and Capcom credited as creator. Players can download it for free but need an active Netflix membership to play.
Online multiplayer for up to four players is retained, though cross-play is not mentioned. Descriptions point to the base game only, and it remains unclear whether the Sunbreak expansion is included.

Monster Hunter Rise first launched on Nintendo Switch in March 2021 and later came to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The listings appeared shortly after Capcom announced that the game has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide.
The mobile release also comes weeks before Monster Hunter Outlanders, a free-to-play open-world survival hunting game developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group under license from Capcom, which is due on iOS and Android on October 29, 2026. It will include in-app purchases.
