Founder and Chairman Li Dongsheng said the museum honors TCL's past while inspiring its future, highlighting how the brand grew through bold entrepreneurship and constant innovation.
The TCL Industrial Museum is not only about preserving the journey behind us, but also about inspiring the journey ahead, said Li Dongsheng, Founder and Chairman of TCL. Over the past 45 years, TCL has grown through entrepreneurship, transformation and innovation. As we enter a new chapter, we will carry forward the same boldness and commitment to create new possibilities for the future.
Spanning 23,000 sqm with six exhibition halls, the museum features over 3,000 pieces. It include its early mechanical TVs and China's first computer to TCL CSOT's world‑first printed OLED 4K display. The museum also houses more than 100 vintage TVs from around the world.
TCL explains that this museum reflects the company's evolution and strategic growth.
A major restructuring in 2019 split the company into TCL Technology and TCL Industries, driving focused expansion in display, clean energy, and smart devices.
By 2025, TCL Technology's revenue tripled to USD 27 billion, while TCL Industries doubled to US$24.9 billion.
At the moment, TCL TV ranked No. 2 globally, and TCL Zhonghuan became the world's largest solar‑grade silicon producer. In 2026, TIME named TCL one of the World's Best Companies.
As TCL looks ahead, it continues to blend technology with purpose through initiatives like TCLArt, TCLforHer, TCLGreen, and TCLYoung, as well as its partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
At 45, TCL stays true to the same spirit of innovation and responsibility that built its legacy. The company is committed to shaping a smarter and more sustainable future.
