Smart, Globe announce pre-order for iPhone XS and XS Max!

The country's telco giants are set to bring Apple's latest smartphones to Filipino consumers!

Globe Telecom just announced the US-based firm's iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max would be available to customers starting on October 26. 

But users can pre-order as soon as October 19 to get the first dibs of the "most advanced iPhones ever," Globe said. It did not mention though its pricing for the two devices.

PLDT's wireless arm Smart Communications, meanwhile, has not provided full details yet of its plan to offer the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

However, in its official Facebook page the company hinted the iPhone XS would also be available for pre-order this coming October 19 and be available to the public on October 26!

To recall, Apple revealed the smartphones last September 13, sporting premium metal and glass construction as well as the powerful 7 nm A12 Bionic hexa-core AI chip. 

The iPhone XS features 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED TrueTone display with 2436 x 1125 resolution at 463 ppi.

Its sibling, iPhone XS Max, meanwhile, boasts massive 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED TrueTone display with 2688 x 1242 resolution at 456 ppi and wide color support. 

Just like Apple's previous smartphones, the new devices are packed with 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB internal storage. 

They both tout 12MP wide + 12MP telephoto camera with improved quad-LED flash, while its front-facing camera has 7MP IR camera with screen flash. 

It also can be noted that Apple finally decided to adopt the dual-SIM feature! The devices run with iOS 12 out of the box, with new features such as Human Emoji, Siri Shortcuts, AR Quick Look, to name a few.
