First announced last month, Samsung's Gear Fit 2 silently hits the Philippine stores few days ahead of its July 20, 2016 launch. Earlier, we spotted a live demo unit that's already available on retail at SM Light Mall in Mandaluyong City.

As a refresher, the Gear Fit 2 is the updated edition of the original Gear Fit. it features a more ergonomic design, Super AMOLED screen with 432 x 216 pixels, 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM and 200 mAh of battery capacity. It also has its own GPS sensor, heart rate monitor, IP68 water and dust resistance, and can play music.
It runs with Tizen OS out of the box and compatible with Android phones with at least 1.5 GB RAM and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It comes with 3 color variants that includes: black, blue, and pink w/ 2 strap sizes.
