PLDT VITRO Davao Goes Official, The First Data Center In The Region
Ever since President Duterte won the Philippine election, Davao became instant center of attention of businesses in the country. So in-line with that, ePLDT launched the company's 8th operating data center facility in Davao, the first in the region!
The PLDT VITRO Davao is a Tier 2-Compliant Facility that's one hour away from Davao International Airport. It has a 44 rack capacity with 7-layer security and 99.95% service level agreement in the right temperature location.
On top of the new data center, PLDT has also completed the Davao cable landing station which links Mindanao to PLDT's three other international gateway in the country. This is expected to improve the network resiliency in Mindanao.
PLDT has also upgraded the Innolab facility in Davao, where products and digital services are showcased for customers and enterprise clients. This is where clients can test out the latest offerings by PLDT.

The facility can also improve operational efficiencies using professionally managed IT services in a more cost effective manner.
