Basically, Samsung could be correct. The Galaxy J7+ has one of the widest and brightest aperture size you can find on a sub PHP 20K smartphone today. In addition, it has the Note 8's Live Focus feature that captures better depth and bokeh. It even has 7 levels of depth adjustment and refocus technology.

For selfies, there's a 16MP f/1.9 lens that has an LED flash for selfies or groufies even in the dark. Moreover, it has selfie focus function for depth and bokeh.

Promising? Have a look at the first camera samples we took using the Galaxy J7+!

What we think so far? Quite IMPRESSIVE and very promising! The dual camera setup can produce great colors, details, and depth. The background blur is one of the most natural on a midranger we've seen as well.

Selfies has great colors too, but it could be soft at times if you have shaky hands. Then even if it only has a single camera, it has nice and close to natural looking selfie focus "bokeh effect" as well.

However, rendering of images on Live Focus mode on the test units we tried yesterday is quite slow. But, we are speculating that the actual retail unit of the Galaxy J7+ might not have that problem anymore.

Stay tuned for our full review!
