Tekpone announces alleged local iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus prices!

Apple fans have been waiting for the pricing of the new iPhones here in the Philippines. Fortunately, Tek Yap of Tekpone, a local gadget retailer, has posted the alleged official prices of the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus recently. It starts at PHP 43,490!

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

The iPhone 8 and 8+ is this year's version of the Apple flagship smartphone. This year it looks fairly the same except for the glass back. It also has water and dust resistance as well.

The iPhone 8 Plus will have dual cameras while the iPhone 8 has a single 12MP camera

The iPhone 8 has 4.7-inch 1334 x 758 display while the 8 Plus has a bigger 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and true tone tech for a an enhanced color accuracy and cinema grade color gamut.

Colors available

Both of the phones will also have the hexa-core A11 Bionic chip. It is partnered up with an Apple-made GPU for both gaming and the mechanical learning feature. The storage will range from 64GB and 256GB.

They will also sport improved cameras. The iPhone 8 has a single 12MP sensor with OIS while iPhone 8 Plus will have dual 12MP sensors, one of which has a f/1.8 wide angle lens while the other one has a f/2.8 telephoto lens with OIS.

iPhone 8 64 GB - PHP 43,490

iPhone 8 256 GB - PHP 52,790

iPhone 8 Plus 64 GB - PHP 51, 290

iPhone 8 Plus 256 GB - PHP 58, 990

All of these are now on pre-order w/ 1 year warranty. The new iPhones will be available on November 17.
