Sharp S3 Android One smartphone launched

Sharp just launched the S3, the latest Android One powered smartphone of the Japanese company.

It features a 5-inch 1080p IGZO display, Snapdragon 430 chip, 3GB RAM, and 2,700mAh battery. It also has 13.1MP main camera, 5MP selfie camera, and 4G w/ VoLTE.

It has no fingerprint scanner though

Then, like most Android One powered smartphones, the Sharp S3 runs with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS with the promise of 2 years OS updates and 3 years of security updates.

However, it doesn't have a fingerprint scanner. But, it has Water (IPX5 / IPX8) and dust (IP6X) resistance.

Unfortunately, we might not see this phone here in the Philippines anytime soon as the mobile phones of Sharp are not locally available yet.
