The charging case |
At first glance, it is obvious that it is made of textured metal and polycarbonate. It is larger than most ear pieces and this would lead you think that it would be heavy. We were surprised at how light weight it was.
The clasps attach to your hear from below instead of the typical over the ear design. This allows the users to wear glasses and does not impede use of earrings. These a long with the wireless design make it a stand out in the market.
The case also serves as its charging dock. It has a USB Type-C port that supports fast charging. It is rated to charge 1 hour of listening in 7 minutes. The ear piece is rated to last for 4 hours with an extra charge from the case of up to 16 hours of use.
It supports Android 5.0 Lollipop and later for the Google Assistant and iOS 10 for Siri integration.
Audio Quality
|
Good audio? |
It supports Sony's Hi-Res Audio and from our experience it has the signature Sony sound of decent mids and trebles and it emphasises the bass.
It gets relatively loud but we were in a quiet secluded area when we tested it. It was with us for a short while so we can't say too much about the audio quality.
Rest assured that if we get our hands on it, we'll update this article.
