The Vivo Y71 comes in a white box with the Y71 smartphone and the official smartphone logo showing their partnership with FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. It has the photo of the smartphone printed on the box.

Vivo included a wall charger that outputs 5V/1A. For our initial charge test, the charger promises a fully charged 3,360mAh in almost 2 hours.

Included also are the USB Type-A cable, 3.5 mm earphones, pre-installed screen protector, SIM ejector tool, and documentation. Vivo failed to include a protective case for the smartphone this time.

Build Quality / Design

Matte-finished body
Matte-finished body

The Vivo Y71 doesn't look that much different with some of the smartphone giant's previous offerings.

It has a 6-inch HD+ display that makes a wide viewing protected by the pre-installed screen protector. It does not feature a Gorilla nor a Dragontail glass.

Premium-looking budget smartphone!

The 6-inch HD+ display with 84.4 percent of screen-to-body ratio of the Vivo Y71 makes an immersive experience. The construction of the Y71 doesn't look so "biggie" for its huge display.

Its matte-textured body makes a nice grip. Overall, the Vivo Y71 has a decent look with familiar buttons and ports placements.
