With the popularity of the X-A5, the X-T20 and the X-E3, it was only a matter of time for Fujifilm to make a camera to fill the gap between the different lines.
Near 180-degree tilt screen!

One of the largest concerns with the Fujifilm X-A5 is the lack of a viewfinder and a fully articulating display. This was obviously due to keep the price competitive.

This left a gap between the X-A5 (with kit lens at USD 599) and the X-T20, X-E3 (with kit lens at USD 899).

The new X-T100 is priced at USD 799 with the new Pancake Zoom 15-45 mm kit lens. Locally it is priced at PHP 39,990 with the 15 to 45 PZ lens.

The highlight feature is the new 3-way tilting LCD touch screen. This now goes horizontally to nearly 180 degrees that makes it perfect for Vlogging. It is now near the articulating touch screens of Canon and Panasonic.
Fujifilm trademark dials!

The next big feature is the new 0.39-inch, 2.36-million-dot OLED viewfinder with approximately 100 percent coverage and a magnification of 0.62x. This is a feature that the X-A series sorely lacked.

It shoots video up to 4K for up to 30 minutes. Whether or not it shoots at 4K 15fps like the X-A5 is another story.

There is a 1080p 60fps mode as well for those who want super smooth video. They also mentioned a 720p at 4X high speed.

A view finder!

It carries the usual 11 Fujifilm film simulation modes, microphone jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Pop-flash, and a 430 shot rated battery.

It weighs in at 448 grams with battery and memory card.

It is directly competing with the new Canon EOS M50 that is also priced at USD 799 or in the PH at PHP 44,998.

This segment is now becoming hot with competition!
