LG showcased AI powered Smart Appliances at Innofest Asia 2018
LG champions their line of smart appliances powered by their SmartThinQ A.I. tech at the InnoFest Asia 2018 held in South Korea last April 23 to 25.

The event this year was themed "An Invitation to the AI Home That Thinks of You". With that, LG introduced their range of smart appliance equipped with LG's SmartThinQ. They are aiming to make daily life easier and more convenient with new tech and smarter appliances. During the event, the guests were treated to mock sets of a living room, kitchen, and laundry room to showcase LG's new products.

The kitchen showcased LG's IntaView Door-in-Door fridge technology that is now also applicable to Multi-Door refrigerators. The new fridge has a sleek stainless steel design. It also has a glasspanel that lights up with two simple knocks so that users can see what's inside without the need for opening the door which saves time and energy.
In addition to that, the InstaView Door-in-Door fridge can also be controlled remotely via the user's smartphone due to LG's SmartThinQ. They can change the refrigerator's temperature and even check the appliance's health. It can also look up recipes according to the ingredients you already have, relay instructions to LG smart ovens which automatically adjusts cooking setting after receiving the recipe.

The laundry room showcased the LG TWINWash washing machine which is a convenient and time-saving appliance with both a main washer and mini washer that makes it possible to wash two loads of laundry at the same time. The TWINWash washing machine also has WiFi connectivity to control and monitor the appliance remotely, download wash cycles and track energy usage.
Lastly, the living room setup showcased their newewst OLED TV model which is equipped with LG's Alpha 9 intelligent processor. OLED TV offer enhanced picture quality and vivid colors from any viewing angle. It also has Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio-visual experience. The AI functionality starts with the voice assistant technology where users can speak into the remote control. It also has the Electronic Program Guide to deliver information about channels that offers user desired content.
InnoFest Asia 2018 also has zones for LG's different smart home appliance, energy-saving inverter tech and it's lineup of premium SUPER UHD TVs.
