Vivo could launch a phone with In-Display fingerprint scanning tech soon!

Vivo Philippines just uploaded  a teaser image on Facebook of a with an image of a fingerprint with the hashtag #UnlockingSoon.

It could only mean one thing, Vivo could launch a new device with Vivo's new In-Display fingerprint scanning tech.

Currently, that new type of technology is found of the Vivo X21 UD and the Vivo APEX concept phone. The X21 UD is now available in other parts of the world.

This fingerprint scanning tech can easily unlock your phone in just one tap on the screen. It is a more convenient fingerprint authentication experience on phones with near all-screen displays.

According to Vivo, this type of tech can also be used even for mobile payment authentication in the future.

In case you missed it, the Vivo X21 UD boasts a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 660 chipset with AIE chip, 6GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, 3,200mAh battery, 12MP + 5MP dual camera w/ Dual Pixel PDAF, 12MP f/2.0 A.I. selfie camera, and Android Oreo OS out of the box.
