5. Cloudfone's smartphone with glossy back and notch - The local smartphone brand shocked its fans for an unexpected tease of an interesting smartphone that lingered online. Cloudfone posted a photo of their phone sporting a 3D-like glass-looking back cover design. It also showed that it will have a vertically aligned camera and a backfiring speaker at the back.

4. Nokia X5 with Helio P60 processor announcement - In China, Nokia has launched their latest X5 equipped with a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor. The global smartphone brand also equipped the Nokia X5 with 3GB RAM/32GB ROM or 4GB RAM/64GB ROM plus 3,060mAh of a battery. It also sports 5.86-inch 19:9 notched display with a dual rear camera of 13MP + 5MP plus 8MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 series and Redmi 8 - 22,436 hits as of writing

3. Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, and Mi 8 now in PH - Two affordable and promising smartphones have been added to the market by the Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi. The two smartphones run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9 and boast a face unlock security feature. The Xiaomi Redmi 6A with 2GB RAM/16GB ROM is priced at PHP 5,290, while the 2GB RAM/32GB ROM variant is priced at PHP 5,990 only.

Xiaomi also launched the Mi 8 flagship smartphone. It has top of the line specs and cameras for the starting price of PHP 25,990.

Samsung Galaxy J8 - 44,474 hits as of writing

2. Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018) price and PH availability announced - The Korean tech giant has officially announced in the country their latest offering that retails for PHP 15,990. It has a huge battery of 3,500mAh. It features a 6-inch 1440 by 720p Super AMOLED Infinity display at 268 ppi. Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018) is equipped with 1.8GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor and the Adreno 506 with 3GB of RAM.

1. Huawei Nova 3i launched in the Philippines - The success of last year's Nova 2i is continuously being rejoiced over with the launch of its successor, the Nova 3i. It is the latest mid-range smartphone of the Chinese smartphone giant packed with premium design, great specs, and quad cameras. It only retails for PHP 15,990!
