Motorola just announced 3 new phones with mid-range grade specs for the Philippine market. It include the Moto E5, E5 Plus, and G6.

Moto E5

First announced last April, the Moto E5 is equipped with a body that has water repellent coating. On the front, it has a 5.7-inch 18:9 IPS screen with 1440 x  720 resolution at 282 ppi.

Inside, it is powered by a 1.4GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor with Adreno 308 GPU. It also has 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD, and 4,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.

It also has a 13MP f/2.0 PDAF main camera w/ LED flash, 5MP selfie camera w/ LED flash, fingerprint scanner, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It boots with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The phone measures at 154.4 x 72.2 x 8.95 mm and weighs at 174 g.

It is available in flash gray and fine gold colors.

Next is the Moto E5 Plus, it is the beefier variant of the E5. It still has a body with water repellent coating. But now, it goes with a bigger 6-inch 18:9 IPS screen with HD+ 1440 x 720 resolution at 268 ppi.

The battery capacity is larger at 5,000mAh as well. It even has support for 2A fast charging.

At the back, it has a 12MP f/2.0 sensor with PDAF and LED flash. For selfies, you'll find an 8MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture size and LED flash.

As expected, this device goes with a fingerprint scanner at the back, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It also loads with Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box. It measures at 161.9 x 75.3 x 9.35 mm and weighs at 200 g. It will be available in flash gray and fine gold color.

On the other hand, the new Moto G6 has the best specs of them all. It has the metal and glass like body with P2i water repellent nano coating.

In front, it has a Gorilla Glass 3 protected 5.7-inch 18:9 IPS display with FHD+ 2160 x 1080 resolution at 424 ppi.

Inside, it is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage up to 128GB via  microSD card, and 3,000mAh battery w/ USB Type-C charging port.

This device also has a 12MP + 5MP f/1.8 dual cameras behind w/ LED flash. For selfies, you'll find an 8MP shooter. 

It also has fingerprint scanner at the back, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

The phone boots with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It measures at 153.8 x 72.3 x 8.3 mm and weighs at 167 g.

It will come in deep indigo color.

The Moto E5 and E5 Plus are now available nationwide. The E5 is available in flash gray color for PHP 7,999. On the other hand, the E5 Plus will come in flash gray and fine gold colors for PHP 9,999.

Those who will buy the Moto E5 and E5 Plus will get a FREE anti-theft sling bag and an anti-theft backpack respectively until supplies last.

The Moto G6 in deep indigo color will be available in the country starting August 10 for PHP 14,499.
