Monster 363,525 score! |
The fastest mobile chipset yet?
 |
According to Apple |
Easily, it is the highest AnTuTu score ever recorded yet on a smartphone. It got a 133,561 CPU score, 150,931 GPU score, 66,474 UX score, and 12,559 Memory score.
Its total score of 363,525 showed the large difference in performance of the 7 nm A12 Bionic chip compared with the older 10 nm flagship processors. It is simply way faster than the Snapdragon 845, Exynos 9810, and Kirin 970.
For those who missed our report, the A12 chip features 2 performance cores and 4 efficency cores. It also has a new Apple-designed GPU and 2nd generation 8-core Neural Engine with support for 5 trillion operations per second.
Most likely, only Huawei's own 7 nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 can go toe to toe with this monster chip from Apple this year. The upcoming Huawei Mate 20 series will be powered by the said SoC.
