Facebook takes down "spam" accounts, pages |
In a blog post, the social media giant announced 95 pages and 39 accounts were deleted after violating the company's spam and authenticity rules.
It claimed the accounts had been "encouraging people to visit low quality websites that contain little substantive content and are full of disruptive ads."
Facebook said the accounts had political and entertainment content, but they were "sharing links to the same advertising lick farms off Facebook."
