Qualcomm launches the 11nm Snapdragon 675 with triple-cam support!

Qualcomm has a new mid-range Snapdragon chip and it is an interesting one, the Snapdragon 675.

It's one of the first built under the 11nm LPP process. It has the 4th gen Kyro octa-core CPU with 2x performance cores that has up to 2.0GHz clock speed and 6x efficiency cores with 1.7GHz clock speed.

On the GPU part, it has the Adreno 612, a 6th generation GPU to handle graphics. It also has the 3rd generation Qualcomm AI Engine with 1.8x better DSP, GPU, and CPU AI performance versus Snapdragon 660.

It also has up to FHD+ display resolution support, Snapdragon X12 4G LTE Cat 12 with up to 600Mbps download speed, Qualcomm Aqstic audio, Qualcomm aptX audio, 6th generation Hexagon DSP, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology.

The more interesting feature of this chip is it has the 2nd gen Qualcom  Spectra ISP with up to 25MP at 30fps ZSL and 48MP snapshots. It can support triple-camera setups as well.

It will be available on devices from Q1 2019.

Let's expect new phones with triple-camera setups by that time.
