Lenovo S5 Pro GT with SD660 and quad-cam announced

Along with the Z5s, Lenovo also announced the S5 Pro GT in China. It is the upgraded variant of the S5 Pro launched two months back.

The highlights

The Lenovo S5 Pro GT comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ 2246 x 1080 resolution and 18:7:9 screen aspect aspect ratio. Inside, it loads with Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, Adreno 512 GPU, 6GB, 64GB expandable storage up to 256GB with microSD, and 3,500mAh battery with USB-C charging.

It also has a 20MP f/1.8 primary camera and a 12MP f/2.6 sensor with 2x optical zoom. For selfies, it also has a dual-camera setup. You will find a 20MP f/2.2 primary selfie cam and an 8MP secondary sensor.

Both comes comes with AI portrait. The selfie camera has IR-powered face unlock function.

It also has a fingerprint scanner, WiFi 802.11ac, 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, and dual SIM slots.

You will also see the usual light, compass, gravity, and proximity, sensors.

It measures at 154.5 x 75.45 x 7.7 mm and weighs at 170 grams.

Price and availability

The phone has a starting price of CNY 1,198 or around 9.2K. It will be available on sale from December 24.
