LG announces Q60, K50 and K40 ahead of MWC 2019

Ahead of MWC 2019, LG announced three new mid-range smartphones, the LG Q60, K50 and K40.

The LG Q60 has a 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a waterdrop notch. It also has 2GHz octa-core processor that is paired with 3GB of RAM, 3,500mAh battery and 64GB of expandable storage. It can support up to 2TB through microSD card expansion. 

For cameras, it has a triple camera setup at the back with a 16MP + 2MP Depth Sensor + 5MP super wide angle lens combo with PDAF and LED flash. It also has a 13MP selfie camera as well.

LG K50

The LG K50 also comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It also has a waterdrop notch. Inside, it has a 2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 3,500mAh battery and a 32GB expandable storage that can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

For cameras, it has a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup with PDAF and LED flash. It also has a 13MP sensor for selfies.

LG K40

The LG K40 has a smaller 5.7-inch HD+ FullVision display. It has a 2GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB expdable storage of up to 2TB, and a 3,000mAh battery. It also comes with a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front camera.

Price and availability

The three new LG devices all support LTE and a MIL-STD 810G military grade certification. They also come with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor along with DTS:X 3D Surround Sound audio technology. A Google Assistant button is also present with all devices.

Pricing and availability is not yet announced. We can expect more details during the MWC 2019 LG Event this February 24.
