It’s finally here! Samsung is keeping its momentum with the announcement of its first foldable phone, Galaxy Fold.

At its grand launch event in San Francisco, USA today, the Korean firm has just unveiled the luxury device. 

The Samsung Galaxy Fold offers 4.6-inch infinity flex display, which can unfold to 7.3-inch, giving users immersive multimedia experience. 

It flaunts six cameras: three rear cameras, two on the inside, and one on the front. 

Samsung said the device supports multi-tasking, allowing you to watch on YouTube, chat, and even Google search at the same time.

It teamed up with US-based tech leader Google for app support, the company noted. 

Inside the device, it has 12GB RAM, 512GB ROM, and universal flash storage 3.0, providing two times faster than other phone storage. 

Two batteries will also power the Samsung Galaxy Fold’s two sides. 

The device supports long term evolution (LTE) technology and fifth generation (5G) version. 

Consumers can purchase this starting with a price tag of USD 1,980 (around PHP 103K). Samsung said the Galaxy Fold will start to hit the market on April 26.
