Xiaomi patents a bezel-less phone with four sided edge display

A new report recently emerged showing that Xiaomi has patented a smartphone design with full-screen in front and four sided edge display.

The future of Xiaomi phone designs?

LetsGoDigital obtained that patent filed at the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). The design showed that it has a full front edge display with no earpiece and selfie camera. The earpiece is probably hidden somewhere since the all edges of the phone also has curved screens.

At the back, there's a usual backplate design with a dual-camera setup and LED flash on the top.

Below, it has a USB-C connection. Xiaomi's design is not truly buttonless unlike the concept phones of Vivo and Meizu.

It could be the design that Xiaomi will use in their future flagship phones. We won't be surprised if it will be the next generation look for the upcoming MIX phablets.
