Huawei to US: How can we steal something you don't have?
Huawei was braver than before as its founder said the Chinese titan will not back down from its fight against the United States.

In an interview with BBC, Huawei Founder Ren Zhengfei expressed confidence it could win against the US despite the latter's accusations on alleged spying, stealing trade secrets, and even bank fraud.

Because of these, his daughter, who serves as Huawei's financial officer, was arrested last December in Canada at the request of the US.
Huawei, and even Zhengfei have long denied the allegations.
Our company will never undertake any spying activities. If we have any such actions, then I'll shut the company down, he said.
Zhengfei further stressed: How can we steal something you (the US) don't have?
The Huawei executive also pointed out that given the company's advanced technologies, in spite of the US' efforts to urge other nations to ban its products, "the world cannot leave us."
Zhengfei added that if the US was not ready to trust Huawei, the group is willing to allot more investment in the UK market.
Earlier, the UK government shrugged off worries stemmed from the US, saying any threats posed by Huawei can be mitigated.
Huawei, which leads the 5G race, has been tapped by UK-based telco firms, including Vodafone, EE, and Three.
There's no way they can crush us. The US government continues to accuse us, but this pushes us to make our products even much better, he said.
