Huawei Mate 20 X 5G hands-on video

The video was uploaded on YouTube last Friday by Zing Gadget. It showed the Mate 20 X in different angles with one showing the noticeable 5G logo in the middle of its backside. It also confirmed a rumored spec of the phone which is the smaller 4,200mAh battery but a faster charging 40W SuperCharge support.

Both the Huawei Mate X foldable phone and Mate 20 X 5G will use Huawei's very own Balong 5000 5G modem. This modem is already compatible with the flagship Kirin 980 processor. It requires a lot more space inside the Mate 20 X as well which may have contributed on the smaller battery capacity.

The Mate 20 X 5G's other key specs should remain the same as the found the 4G version. It has a 7.22-inch screen, 8GB of RAM, and the same triple cameras as the Mate 20 Pro. Schedule of release for the 5G Mate 20 X is not yet know but the foldable Mate X is said to be slated to launch in the second half of 2019.
