Ronda Tinda was launched into the streets of Baliwag, Bulacan last March 27,2019 for its initial run. Residents were able to get discounts and perks on various day-to-day grocery items. They were using PayMaya QR to pay PayMaya-powered Baliwag Benefits Card via the One by PayMaya Business device.

The roving grocery is supplied with South Emerald Supermarket products such as canned goods, toiletries, laundry supplies and more. It also helps consumer save time and money as it minimizes the need to travel as Ronda Tinda is the one coming to their areas.

This month, Ronda Tinda is scheduled to visit different barangays in Baliwag, Bulacan, including the following:
  • Barangay Tangos
  • Barangay Bagong Nayon
  • Barangay Subic
  • Barangay Poblacion
  • Barangay Tibag
  • Barangay San Jose
  • Barangay Tarcan
  • Barangay Makinabang
  • Barangay Tiaong
  • Barangay Concepcion
  • Barangay Santa Barbara
  • Barangay Virgen Delas Flores

They also plan to roll out in Malolos and Bocaue, Bulacan. They also look to reach Quezon City, Kalibo in Aklan and Miagao in Iloilo.

The Baliwag Benefits Card is powered by PayMaya. It also functions as official resident ID card for Baliwag citizens that gives them access to government services and merchant partners' rewards.

It also works like a normal PayMaya card that can be used for cashless payments anytime, anywhere. They can also withdraw money from their account using their card through Bancnet ATMs nationwide.

Linking the Baliwag Benefits card to their PayMaya account further extends its uses like sending money, load purchases and bills payment.
