Realme X - An affordable beast?

First off, the screen is a 6.53-inch 2340 x 1080 AMOLED notch-free panel with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and a pixel density of 394 ppi. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Inside, it has a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, Adreno 616 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage and a 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging tech. 

It has a dual camera setup at the back with a 48MP f/1.7 IMX586 sensor + 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor. For the motorized pop-up selfie camera, a 16MP f/2.0, 25mm wide sensor is fitted. The selfie camera placement is at the middle similar to the OPPO F11 Pro.

Other features include dual band WiFi, 4G LTE, Dolby Atmos sound, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C and an In-Display fingerprint sensor. It loads up with Android 9.0 with ColorOS 6 out of the box.

Price and availability

There are three variants launching in China. The 4GB/64GB variant is priced at CNY 1.500 or around PHP 11,450, 6GB/64GB variant at CNY 1,600 or around PHP 12,200 and an 8GB/128GB variant for CNY 1,800 or around PHP 13,720.

The phone is set to go on sale starting May 20 in China. Information about local availability and official prices are not yet revealed. We will update you as soon as we can.
