Lenovo announces Z6 Pro 5G edition and world's first 5G laptop!

At MWC Shanghai 2019, Lenovo announced the Z6 Pro 5G edition and the world's first 14-inch 5G laptop!

To recall, Lenovo announced the original Z6 Pro back in April. Recently, at MWC Shanghai, Lenovo announced the Z6 Pro 5G edition that is nearly identical to the original apart from the 5G Modem and the back plate. 

The new 5G phone features the Snapdragon X50 5G modem with the Snapdragon 855 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. In front is a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with DC dimming and HDR 10 support. 

At the back is a rear quad camera set-up of a 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor, a 16MP secondary wide angle camera, a 8MP telephoto camera and a 2MP ToF camera while the front facing camera is a 32MP shooter.

It connects via 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C. Inside is a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging.

World's first 5G Laptop

Lenovo also showcased their new 14-inch 5G laptop that runs on the Snapdragon 8cx SoC clocked at 2.75GHz with the Snapdragon X55 modem. A prototype of the laptop was showcased earlier in Computex by Lenovo and Qualcomm.

There is no word yet on pricing and availability of these products in China and on whether or not these products will reach Philippine shores.
