LG nurtures ties with its PH community
LG Philippines together with the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) partnered with San Joaquin Kalawaan Highschool in Pasig. The South Korean company donated three units of its green dual inverter air-conditioners which has a 70 percent energy saving feature as well as an air purifier, as part of the celebration of the World Environment Day.

LG also had volunteers from the school, company, and community to build a Green Living Wall through a collaborative effort inside the school.
The most important thing about programs such as these is the authenticity behind it, no matter how small they may seem at the start. By playing an active role in the community and its betterment as well as doing more than what’s required, LG is able to plant seeds that lead to better awareness, a better environment, and perhaps even a better future, said Mr. Inkwun Heo LG Philippines’ Managing Director.
The South Korean tech giant's global advocacies right now is the goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030. It is dubbed as the "Zero Carbon 2030" initiative, LG commits as a whole to achieve net-zero carbon emissions from its global operations within 12 years.
