Samsung Electronics crowned best brand in Asia for 2019

Campaign Asia-Pacific with Nielsen's annual survey that spans 15 major product categories and Samsung came out on top for eighth year in a row.

Online survey says Samsung is the best brand in Asia 

The survey was conducted in early 2019 in 14 countries with 15 major categories that included over 1000 of Asia's best brands wherein the participants were asked the following: 

Question 1: "When you think of the following category, which is the best brand that comes to your mind? By best, we mean the one that you trust the most or the one that has the best reputation in this category."

Question 2: "Apart from the best brand that you entered, which brand do you consider to be the second best brand in the category?"

Samsung came out on top in several categories that include mobile-friendly brand, strong local brand and brand value that align with respondents. The Korean giant also got top marks in mobile phones, TV manufacturer and smart home technology categories.

To recall, Samsung is the world's leading TV and mobile phone brand with around 20 percent of the market share, respectively.
