Samsung Galaxy A80 to go official in the Philippines on July 12!

In a press release, Samsung Mobile Philippines has just confirmed that the Galaxy A80 will go official in the Philippines on July 12, 2019!

Samsung revealed that the leaked price we got a month ago is correct. The Galaxy A80 will be available in phantom black and angel gold for PHP 34,990.

As a quick recap, Samsung Galaxy A80 is the first full screen phone of the company with no notch and holes in the screen. It uses a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with 2400 x 1080 resolution at 393 pixels per inch. Its display also comes with an In-Display fingerprint reader.

To make that feat possible, Samsung used a sliding pop-up camera mechanism to house its 48MP f/2.0 + 8MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens + 3D depth triple-camera setup and other sensors.

Under the hood, it is also one of the first to feature the 8nm Snapdragon 730 octa-core chip. It is paired with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 3,700mAh battery.
