Xiaomi to bring Mi AirDots Basic in the Philippines soon

Xiaomi revealed that they will make the Mi AirDots Pro's sibling official in the Philippines, the Mi AirDots Basic.

As its name suggest, Mi AirDots Basic is the "basic" or entry-level true wireless in-ear earphones of the company.

Xiaomi's ultra-budget true wireless earphones

Also known as the Mi AirDots Youth Edition in China, Mi AirDots Basic features a capsule-shaped battery charging case and a half in-ear styled earbuds. Inside, it uses a 7.2 mm dynamic drivers designed to deliver the rich bass response and clear tunes.

It connects via Bluetooth 5.0 technology which goes with up to 4 hours battery life on a single charge. If the case is included, it can give you 12 hours of juice in total.

As expected, it has touch-based controls like the Mi AirDots Pro.

Grimalkin Corporation, Xiaomi's distributor in the Philippines, said that it will go official in the country soon. We just don't know the exact date yet.

In China, the true wireless earphones is priced around PHP 1.5K. Let's see if it will be that affordable here as well.
