Razer and Visa team up to initiate change in payment methods in the gaming industry by improving the former's e-wallet system.

Razer Pay improved by Visa

Razer Fintech joins Visa's fintech fast track program that aims to make it easier for companies to access global Visa payment networks. The two companies will develop a virtual Visa prepaid solution to be embedded in the Razer Pay e-wallet. This will allow up to 60 million Razer users to make payments wherever Visa accepted.

The payment solution will be integrated in to Razer Pay via a mini-app. This will help expand Razer Pay's existing services such as mobile top-ups, virtual credits and entertainment purchases for music and streaming services. Rewards and benefits will also be expanded with Visa's participation.

This is part of an effort to push inclusion for people who are unbanked and underserved in the region. 438 million people fall in to this category in Southeast Asia. The companies aim to improve financial literacy in Southeast Asia as a whole.
