HONOR aims to bring the Vision TV series with HarmonyOS in the Philippines

During a media gathering in the Philippines, HONOR's president for Asia Pacific Own Ou revealed some of the company's plans for the Philippine market. One of them is for the HONOR Vision TV series.

The first HarmonyOS device in the Philippines?

The high-ranking official said that HONOR aims to bring the Vision TV series in the Philippines. However, there is no definite timeline yet.

To recall, HONOR Vision TV and Vision TV Pro are two of the very first commercial devices which run on Huawei's new HarmonyOS based on a microkernel structure.


HarmonyOS 1.0 comes with minimalist interface design, dynamic screensaver, multi-device interaction, Magic-link control to share content to your phone and do screen mirroring easier.

HONOR Vision TV series highlights a 3D arc full metal frame that is just 6.9 mm slim. It uses a 55-inch display with 94 percent screen-to-body ratio, 4K resolution, and HDR support.

It also highlights a HONGLU 818 quad-core processor with 600MHz Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.

The standard Vision TV goes with 16GB of internal storage and four speakers. The Vision TV Pro comes with 32GB storage, 6x 10W speakers with Histen audio, and 1080p Smart Pop-up AI camera with HiSilicon Hi3516DV300 NPU with face recognition, body tracking, and posture detection.t also comes with a Bluetooth remote. By the way, you can also use your phone as a remote.

The TV also has WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz) 2x2, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, 3x HDMI 2.0 (1x HDMI ARC),  1x USB 3.0, 1 x AV, 1 x DTMB, 1 x S/PDIF, and 1 x Ethernet port.

For now, the TV is only available in China. But as mentioned, HONOR plans to bring this TV in the Philippines soon.
