The Nova 3 series changed the game

How? When they introduced the Nova 3i in June of 2018, it arguably has the best design and specs for the price.

First, unlike its competitors, it is equipped with a premium real metal and glass design. It is also one of the first to introduce the gradient color trend in the mid-range phone segment.

Second, it has an AI-focused Kirin 710 chip based on the 12nm fabrication for better speed and efficiency.

Third, it is one of the first in its class with a massive 128GB storage. Huawei even had a campaign stating that "128GB>64GB".

Fourth, it has four AI-powered cameras with cool AR effects and never-before-seen photography features for the price like the AI-assisted Super Night Mode.

Fifth, the price. At PHP 15,990, it is PHP 2K more affordable than competing phones while having a more competitive design, specs, cameras, and features.

The result?

Huawei sold 20,000 units of the said phone in just one day. It also became one of the best-selling phones in 2018.

It is also one of the most searched phones last year.

In July of 2018, Huawei introduced the Nova 3, the higher-end model of the Nova 3i. It is a phone with near flagship-grade design and overall performance for less.

The Nova 3 series also garnered a lot of hits here at GIZGUIDE.

Now, I'm looking forward to seeing what's next. I'm sure Huawei has something in store for us.
