RedmiBook 14 Pro with 10th gen Intel CPU officially launched in China

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi released a lot of digital products recently and one of them is the RedmiBook 14 Pro. This is considered an improvement of RedmiBook 14 that was launched in May 2019.

RedmiBook 14 Pro as an upgrade

This netbook has a relatively light metal body of 1.5kg and has 1.3 mm key travel that results in more convenience in typing. 

Both feature the 14-inch Full HD screen with 5.75 mm super slim bezels and 81.2 percent screen-to-body ratio.

But the main difference lies in their processors as the RedmiBook 14 pro boasts faster 10th gen Intel Core i5/i7 processors with 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. The company claims a 13 percent overall performance increase compared to the previous-gen processor.

It is also paired with 8GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM with 256GB or 512GB SATA SSD storage.

It features a 46WHr battery with up to 10-hour battery life and a fast-charging component that lets you charge 50 percent in 35 minutes

It also has a fast-charging component that enables the user to charge as high as 50 percent within 35 minutes when off power.

The port selection incorporates two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and one HDMI port.

Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11ac 2x2 (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.

Realtek ALC256M, 2x 1.5W speakers, and DTS audio.

It runs with 
Windows 10 OS.

The laptop measures at 323 x 228 x 17.95 mm and weighs 1.5 kg.

Price and availability

The RedmiBook 14 Pro comes in Silver and new Pink and Dark Gray color versions, which is priced at 3999 yuan (PHP 29,184) for the Core i5

The 8GB RAM variant with 256GB SSD version and 512GB version of it costs 4499 yuan (PHP 32,833). For the Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM with 512GB SSD version is worth 4999 yuan (PHP 36, 481).

Note that these prices don’t include taxes and duties yet. The netbook will be sold in China from September 6th and is available for pre-order starting today. No news if this will arrive here in the Philippines and when but we will keep you posted.
