Pre-orders for the RX100 VII in PH are now available

Local distributor Henry's Camera recently posted on their Instagram account the pre-order availability and price of the Sony RX100 VII, a highly anticipated premium point and shoot camera from the Japanese electronics giant.

Now at its seventh generation, the RX100 features a 20MP 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor with the BIONZ X processor. In front is the 9-72mm (24-200mm equivalent) f/2.8-4.5 lens without a built-in ND-filter. On top is a pop-up 2.36M, 0.39-type electronic viewfinder.

For video recording, the RX100 VII is able to record up to 4K 30fps and super slow motion up to 960fps. There is a 5-minute limit for 4K recording to avoid overheating.

It connects via Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, micro-USB and micro-HDMI with a 3.5mm microphone input jack.

The battery is CIPA rated for 240 shots per charge or 40-70 minutes of video recording.

Price and availability

The price starts at PHP 76,999 for the body only. If you want the base grip and shooting grip, you may have to shell out PHP 82,499.
