Now at its seventh generation, the RX100 features a 20MP 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor with the BIONZ X processor. In front is the 9-72mm (24-200mm equivalent) f/2.8-4.5 lens without a built-in ND-filter. On top is a pop-up 2.36M, 0.39-type electronic viewfinder.
For video recording, the RX100 VII is able to record up to 4K 30fps and super slow motion up to 960fps. There is a 5-minute limit for 4K recording to avoid overheating.
It connects via Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, micro-USB and micro-HDMI with a 3.5mm microphone input jack.
The battery is CIPA rated for 240 shots per charge or 40-70 minutes of video recording.
