Redmi 8A teaser!

The company's teaser revealed that it will sport a modern-looking display with a waterdrop-like notch with fairly slim looking bezels. Redmi also confirmed that it will sport a massive 5,000mAh battery.

To recall, Redmi 7A is only equipped with an 18:9 display and 4,000mAh of juice.

A phone with a 19:9 tall display and a massive 5,000mAh is impressive for an entry-level device.

While Redmi hasn't revealed other details about the phone yet. TENNA certification of China confirmed that it will feature a 6.2-inch big HD+ display, 2.0GHz octa-core processor, 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage, 12MP main cam, and 8MP selfie cam.

The company also teased that it can take "pro-like" images. Maybe it has a pro mode and a dedicated handheld night mode?

Let's see!
