Together with the new Redmi 8A, Xiaomi released the Mi AirDots Pro 2 in China, an upgraded earbud with improved connectivity and microphones.

The AirDots Pro 2 is designed semi-in-ear to fit the ear canal so that it would be comfortable to wear and will not fall off easily during usage. It weighs just a total of 4.5 grams while the case is 50 grams.
These latest earbuds from the Chinese tech company are equipped with dual microphones for environmental noise cancellation and voice control. This has an infrared sensor for intelligent wear detection for automatic pause whenever removed by the user. Moreover, it features touch controls for volume and track change, and also voice controls.

Aside from that, it has 14.2mm drivers for better audio output and instantly connects with the phone running MIUI when the case is opened and the earphones were taken out. The connection for these earbuds is Bluetooth 5.0, compatible with Android and IOS devices. It will last for 4 hours during playback while 14 hours with its case included. It has a USB Type-C charging for the case and charging time will take an hour.
The Mi AirDots Pro 2 is available in white color only with a price tag of CNY 399 or PHP 2,925 (Taxes and duties are not yet included) but it will be sold in stores in China on September 27. There is no announcement yet if it will be retailed here in the Philippines or other countries. We will give you updates so stay tuned.
