The device could be dubbed as the "iPhone SE 2", but until anything is official, it is not final yet.

iPhone SE 2 is coming?

According to Kuo, the new iPhone will be more affordable to the rest of the iPhone lineup with iPhone 8 chassis and newer internals such as the 7nm Bionic A13 chip and 3GB RAM.

He added that the target market for the new iPhone SE would be the iPhone 6 owners. It could appeal to those who are not fussed with the new Face ID, multi-camera modules but wants a speedy iPhone with the latest iOS features.

He could be right as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are not eligible for an iOS 13 upgrade.

In 2016, the 16GB variant of the iPhone SE retailed for PHP 23,590. There is a good chance that Apple will follow that pricing for this alleged "upcoming" device.

If it will really carry the A13 chip, it could pose a challenge to its similarly priced Android counterparts as that chip is really powerful. In fact, it has the highest score at AnTuTu yet.

The analyst predicts Apple will sell 30-40 million units across 2020.

What do you guys think? Could this budget iPhone appeal to you?
