V17 Pro brings more clarity in selfies

The improvement in optics technology and software development in these past few years has paved the way for front-facing cameras with enhanced resolution and image quality. Vivo recognizes selfie-shooting, not just a trend but also a skill or an art form, thus it unveiled two smartphones that both have the capability for this.

Vivo introduced the V15 Pro as the world’s first 32MP elevating selfie camera and an AI triple rear camera.  After that, the company launched the V17 Pro, its second flagship phone for the V series in the midrange category.

As an improvement from the V15 Pro, the V17 Pro flaunts the latest feature, an exclusive pair of front cameras. The selfie pop-up has a 32MP main camera with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP 105-degree super-wide-angle camera. This design is said to guarantee clearer and fuller selfies wherever the user is.

Similar to its predecessor, the V17 Pro’s dual front cameras are hidden behind the device’s notch-less Super AMOLED screen. They are housed in a wide pop-up mechanism as mentioned, that elevates and retracts in a fast manner.

Apart from its elevating dual selfie camera, the V17 Pro also features of AI quad rear cameras 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle, 2MP bokeh, and 2MP super macro camera.

Aside from that, the front cam of V17 Pro is supported with Selfie Softlight that said to light up dark images. Meanwhile, the Super Night Selfie mode captures and combines many frames into one to make the user’s face stand out.

With this flagship smartphone's dual elevating selfie camera, selfie sticks will no longer be necessary to shoot since there’s a wide-angle camera.

Additionally, Vivo said that V17 Pro has a “Pose Master” feature which recommends several poses to match different photo scenes and backgrounds, for a more artistic selfie.
