During its annual Christmas party, Huawei Mobile Philippines has shared some of its milestones this year.

Another big year!

Despite the China-US situation, the company has posted HUGE numbers in 2019. Based on the latest data by IDC, Huawei has widened its lead over Apple as the number 2 mobile vendor in the world.

Also, the Huawei is inching closer and close to Samsung as the number 1 brand in the world.

In particular, Huawei captured 18.6 percent of the market share or 66.6 million smartphones shipped. It is equivalent to a 28.2 percent YoY (Year-Over-Year) growth. Samsung has 21.8 percent and Apple has 13 percent of the market share, respectively.

Over 1 million units in 45 days

Apart from phones, Huawei's smartwatch game is also strong this year. The company shared that the global shipments of Huawei Watch GT 2 has exceeded the 1,000,000 mark in just 45 days.

Big numbers

Also, the revenue of the company has reached USD 85.7 billion or up by 24.4 percent versus last year

In 2019, Huawei has also strengthened its software game by introducing the Huawei Mobile Services, PHP 1 50GB Cloud storage, and the Member Center app.
