Xiaomi's first smartphone in the Philippines for 2020
The announcement came a few hours after Xiaomi Singapore said that they will launch the said device on the same date.

This means that the Redmi Note 9S will be the first smartphone of the company in the country for 2019.
To recall, Xiaomi last launched a handset in the Philippines last December 29, 2019.
In case you missed our earlier report, the Redmi Note 9S will feature a square camera bump at the back with a quad-camera configuration and a notchless screen with a punch-hole on the upper-middle portion of the display dubbed as "DotDisplay".
The handset is suspected to come with M2003J6A1G and "Merlin" codename. Geekbench's listing showed that it'll feature the MT6769V/CZ chip which is could be a modified MediaTek Helio G70, the Helio P75.
It is also said to feature an FHD+ resolution, large RAM and storage, and big battery capacity.
