Xiaomi Philippines Country Manager Mark Li announced that the company has postponed the March 23 launch of the Redmi Note 9S in the country due to the heightened Luzon community quarantine to fight COVID-19.

As a quick recap, the Redmi Note 9S is expected to be the upgrade of the Redmi Note 8 in the country. It a device that will feature a quad-camera configuration at the back and an near all-screen display with a punch-hole for the selfie camera in the upper middle portion of the display.

The handset is suspected to come with M2003J6A1G and "Merlin" codename. Geekbench's listing showed that it'll feature the MT6769V/CZ chip which is could be a modified MediaTek Helio G70, the Helio P75.
