In 2018, Vivo announced the NEX S with a full-screen display and a pop-up camera module. This resulted in a trend among smartphone manufacturers to make their own take on the pop-up camera. You can read more about the NEX S at this link.

In April 2019, Samsung announced the Galaxy A80 with a pop-up rotating triple-camera mechanism. This meant that the rear-facing triple cameras can pop-up, and rotate to face the user to become both the main rear and main rear cameras. You can read more about it in our first impressions here.

According to reliable leaker OnLeaks in collaboration with Pigtou, Samsung may finally be making a full-screen smartphone with a pop-up mechanism that houses a single-front facing camera. The front display is estimated to be around 6.5-inches diagonally while the phone measures 160.9 x 77 x 9.2 mm.

The renders reveal a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a triple rear camera set-up. On top of the phone is an IR blaster while at the bottom are the speaker grills, microphone and USB Type-C port.

Not much else is known about the alleged Samsung device. Until an official announcement from Samsung is made, take this information with a grain of salt as it is considered rumors.
